项目标书摘要:In this research plan,my focus is on tropospheric ozone(O3),a significant contributor to air pollution that affects global climate,human health,and ecosystems.Despite decades of mitigation efforts,O3 pollution remains a persistent challenge worldwide,highlighting the need for further research and innovative approaches.The research is conducted at the Institute for Atmospheric and Earth System Research(INAR),University of Helsinki.By integrating mass spectrometry with well-designed lab and field(at rural,suburban,and urban sites)experiments,we aim to develop real-time indicators for tracking O3 formation sensitivity,providing essential insights for effective mitigation strategies.This initiative has the potential to initiate a paradigm shift in evaluating O3 formation sensitivity,contributing to both scientific understanding and societal efforts to address critical environmental and health issues related to O3 pollution.
