Application Abstract: In order to meet the requirements of the particle size distribution and long-term storage stability of the ethylene glycol-based ultrafine pigment dispersion used in the industrialization of the in-situ polymerization of polyester,the effects of different dispersants on the surface modification,dispersing characteristics and long-term storage stability of the pigment dispersed in the ethylene glycol were studied.The pigments and dispersants that meet the application requirements of the polyester in-situ polymerization were selected.The formulation and preparation process of ethylene glycol-based ultrafine pigment dispersion with high storage stability were developed.The application properties of polyester in-situ polymerization with high storage ethylene glycol-based ultrafine pigment dispersion were evaluated.Finally,the optimization of formulation and process of ethylene glycol-based ultrafine pigment dispersion was completed.We have completed the construction of a 5000t/a production line of ethylene glycol-based ultrafine pigment dispersion,and built a demonstration line for the automatic and continuous preparation of ethylene glycol-based ultrafine pigment dispersion.We established the product standards,evaluation methods,production technical specifications of ethylene glycol-based ultrafine pigment dispersion with long-term storage stability and narrow particle size distribution,and the standard color database of ethylene glycol based ultrafine pigment dispersion.The ethylene glycol-based ultrafine pigment dispersion has been successfully used in the continuous industrial production of polyester in-situ polymerization.The large-scale application of the downstream customers confirmed that the ethylene glycol-based ultrafine pigment dispersion developed in this project meets the requirements of the production of polyester in-situ polymerization.
