项目标书摘要：Research Summary:A study of Gijang place name in Old Maps The purpose of this study is to identify the errors and changes of place names in Gijang Old Maps and to check the errors of Old place name index service.The subject of this study is 54 Gijang Old Maps,and 218 place names are shown here.The results of this study are summarized as follows.First,it refers to the old place notation of Gijang Old Maps.(1)Even the same place name appears differently according to the map.(2)It appears as a place name quite different from the original place name.(3)In some cases,Chinese characters in place names are missing.(4)place name is mis-marked.Secondly,the index service error in Gijang place name in Old Maps is as follows.(1)It is the case that Chinese characters are misread.This corresponds to 17 out of 40 errors,which is 42.5%of the total.(2)It is the case that the Chinese character is misunderstood as another Chinese character.(3)It is the case that the Chinese character is misread.Finally,the changes in the names of‘Tansan’and‘Seong-san’are as follows.(1)‘Ju-san’on the current maps,‘Suryeong-san’on 『Gijanggunji』 and 『Encyclopedia of Busan Local Culture』 have been changed from‘Tan-san’.‘Tan-san’was the first name to appear in the 16th century《Dongramdo》.In 1870 『Gijangeupji』,‘tan-san’and‘Su-san’appear together.‘Su-san’is changed from 『Gijangungeupjii』,published in 1904,to‘Su-reong’.Since then,The place names of‘Su-reong’have disappeared and have been changed to‘Ju-san’in the 『Regional Geographical Survey』 published in 1957.Since then,‘Ju-san’has become the current place name on maps.(2)‘Seong-san’first appears with‘Tan-san’in《HaeDongjido》,published in 1750.《Jido》,published in the mid-19th century,changed from‘Seong-san’to‘San-seong’.‘Seong-san’was later changed from 『Gijangeupji』 in 1870 to‘Hyeong-san’.This‘Hyeong-san’even appears in the《Jibangjido》of 1872.The‘Seong-san’was later marked by a change of its place name from 『Joseunjijijaryo』 in 1910 to‘Seong-san’.The names changed from 『Regional Geographical Survey』 made around 1957 to‘San-seong’and appear on the current map.
