项目标书摘要：TheResearchTrainingGroup"HumanDignityandHumanRights"isconcernedwiththehistorical-socialbackgroundofthisvaluestructureformodernity,withitsdifferenttheologicalandphilosophicalformsofreasoningandwiththepresentchallengesandproblemsof"applying"humanrightsandhumandignity.Throughthecooperationofsixdisciplines(philosophy,theology,jurisprudence,sociology,historyandintensivemedicalcare)adeeperunderstandingofthoseproblemsispursuedbycombiningquestionsofgenesiswiththequestionofvalidity.TheResearchTrainingGroupespeciallyfocusesupontheexperienceofinjusticeandparticularlyofviolenceintheemergence,thereasoningandtheapplicationofhumanrights.AnanalyticalandhermeneuticexaminationofthemainargumentsandstrategiesinthebattleforhumanrightsandhumandignityisalsopartoftheResearchTrainingGroup.Thefocusisonthoseargumentationstrategiesthathaveprevailedthroughouthistoryandhaveprovenaskeynotionsinpolitical-legallegitimating.ThisResearchTrainingGroupisdistinguishedbyitsattempttocombinehistoricalvalueanalysis,argumentsofreasoning,andreflectionuponapplication,asopposedthemorecommonnarrativesofhumanrightsandhumandignitywiththeirphilosophicalreasoning.Rather,bothgenesisandvalidityareexaminedintheemergenceofamoralstructurethatsupportshumanrightsandhumandignityandtheirrangeofapplication/usage.Weinvestigatehownewkindsofapplications(e.g.,thediscussionaboutexperimentsonanimalswithatherapeuticpurposeforhumans)couldpossiblycreatenewcontextsforrightsanddignity,andwestrive,therefore,toofferadeeperunderstandingofhumanrightsandhumandignity.

Application Abstract: TheResearchTrainingGroup"HumanDignityandHumanRights"isconcernedwiththehistorical-socialbackgroundofthisvaluestructureformodernity,withitsdifferenttheologicalandphilosophicalformsofreasoningandwiththepresentchallengesandproblemsof"applying"humanrightsandhumandignity.Throughthecooperationofsixdisciplines(philosophy,theology,jurisprudence,sociology,historyandintensivemedicalcare)adeeperunderstandingofthoseproblemsispursuedbycombiningquestionsofgenesiswiththequestionofvalidity.TheResearchTrainingGroupespeciallyfocusesupontheexperienceofinjusticeandparticularlyofviolenceintheemergence,thereasoningandtheapplicationofhumanrights.AnanalyticalandhermeneuticexaminationofthemainargumentsandstrategiesinthebattleforhumanrightsandhumandignityisalsopartoftheResearchTrainingGroup.Thefocusisonthoseargumentationstrategiesthathaveprevailedthroughouthistoryandhaveprovenaskeynotionsinpolitical-legallegitimating.ThisResearchTrainingGroupisdistinguishedbyitsattempttocombinehistoricalvalueanalysis,argumentsofreasoning,andreflectionuponapplication,asopposedthemorecommonnarrativesofhumanrightsandhumandignitywiththeirphilosophicalreasoning.Rather,bothgenesisandvalidityareexaminedintheemergenceofamoralstructurethatsupportshumanrightsandhumandignityandtheirrangeofapplication/usage.Weinvestigatehownewkindsofapplications(e.g.,thediscussionaboutexperimentsonanimalswithatherapeuticpurposeforhumans)couldpossiblycreatenewcontextsforrightsanddignity,andwestrive,therefore,toofferadeeperunderstandingofhumanrightsandhumandignity.
