Aiming at the problem that TSP emissions in dry bulk terminals are uncertain due to the selection of parameters, the influence of different parameters on the uncertainty of particulate emissions in dry bulk terminals was studied. The study established the TSP emission system dynamics model for dry bulk terminals, and quantitatively calculated the TSP emission uncertainties of four parameters, namely "Water action coefficient, homework divide", "Water in material", "Operation TSP up to the maximum TSP up to half of the wind speed", under the normal distribution. The results show that the wharf TSP emission is greatly influenced by parameters, and the maximum emission fluctuates as high as 122% compared with the expected value. The ship loading and Translation operations are greatly influenced by the value of the discharge parameters, and the TSP emission stored in the yard is hardly affected. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In order to analyze the characteristics of air pollutant emission in ships in the Yangtze River Delta, this paperestablishes the air pollutant discharge list of ships in the Yangtze River Delta in 2017 based on the dynamic method of AIS data, and analyzes the emission characteristics of air pollutants in ships under different working conditions. The effect of its emission reduction measures and the spatial distribution of annual emissions of air pollutants from ships in the study area. The results showed: Among the atmospheric pollutants emitted by ships in the Yangtze River Delta in 2017, the emissions of SO2, NOx, PM10, HC and CO were 339,900 tons, 527,700 tons, 45,400 tons, 14,500 tons and 34,300 tons respectively. Low-speed navigation has the largest proportion of emissions. The use of shore power for ship berthing is an effective measure to reduce emissions from coastal areas in the region. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Based on the WRF-CMAQ air quality model, quantitatively simulate the impact of the main air pollutant emissions from the ship transportation activities in the surrounding waters on the urban ambient air quality in coastal areas. The results show that in 2014, the annual average contribution rates of NOx, SO2, PM2.5 and PM10 generated by ship activities in coastal areas of China were 5.95%, 2.20%, 1.46% and 1.41%, respectively. The time difference between ship emissions and air quality impact is significant. The average contribution of ships in April and July is about 10% and 3.5%, and the contribution in January and October is only 2% and 0.93%. The contribution rate of ship activities to the annual average concentration in the coastal waters of China is less than 6%. The impact of coastal ship operations on ambient air quality is generally small.. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Based on the entropy weight and fuzzy matter-element model, the entropy weight method is used to determine the weight coefficient of the evaluation index. The matter element analysis and the calculated entropy weight are used to calculate Euclidean. The degree of proximity has established a fuzzy matter element evaluation model for the entropy weight of atmospheric pollutants in the port area, and completed a comprehensive evaluation of different emission sources in the port area, providing technical support for scientific and effective reduction of air pollutants in the port area. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In order to investigate the characteristics and the sources of PM 10, the Nanjing port was selected as the sampling site for atmospheric PM10 samples collections. The sampling was introduced during represent months in summer and winter. Then the elements, ions and OC/EC chemical components were detected by ICP-MS, ion chromatography and carbon analyzer, respectively. The results showed that the average concentration of atmospheric PM 10 in summer and winter for Nanjing port Was 88.1 ± 31.9 μg/m 3 and 136.9 ± 76.8 μg/m 3, respectively. The concentrations of in organic secondary Components In summer and winter were25.4μg/m 3 and 40.8μg/m 3, accounting for 28.9% and 31.1% of the total PM 10, respectively; the concentration was highest for NO 3 - in summer and for SO 4 2- in winter. There is obvious difference between the concentration of carbonaceous components in summer and winter, and the concentration of total carbonaceous components was 88.1 ± 31.9 μg/m 3 and 136.9 ± 76.8 μg/m 3, accounting for 24.4% and 39.7% of the total PM 10, respectively; Variation of primary carbonaceous components is the reason Causing the difference s. Source apportionment results indicate d that the soil dust and coal combustion, metallurgy, motor vehicle, ship and sea salt were the main contributors To the PM 10 in Nanjing port. Soil dust contributed most (33%), and the contribution percentages of sea salt and ships were approximately 6.4% and 6.6%, respectively. The contribution s of sea salt and ship emissions in winter were slightly higher in winter than that in summer. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

If China intends to designate an international ship air pollutant emission control area (ECA) adopted by the International Maritime Organization (IMO), how to establish the proposed area is a key issue. The paper first analyzes the geographic scope of the four IMO's ECA. Comparatively analyzes the actual situation of China's coastal areas, and then set up four scenarios, namely (1)12 nautical miles (nm) from the territorial sea baseline, which is the boundary of China's territorial sea;(2)24 nm from the territorial sea baseline, which is the boundary for China's contiguous zone;(3)50 nm from the territorial sea baseline; and (4)100 nm from the territorial sea baseline. Using the bottom-up method based on Automatic Identification System (AIS) data of the year 2014 to calculate the proportion of ship emissions in the four scenarios, the results show that the proportion of ship emissions within 12 nm, 24 nm, 50 nm and 100 nm from the territorial sea baseline are 67%, 75%, 82% and 88% respectively. It is recommended that the proposed area of an IMO-adopted ECA in China is 100 nm from the territorial sea baseline, which can control the impact of nearly 90% of the ship emissions, and can avoid the ship from rerouting as much as possible. However, in actual operation, the disputed waters should be avoided. This work may provide reference for further research. © 2019 IOP Publishing Ltd. All rights reserved.

In order to analyse the characteristics of air pollutants emissions from coastal vessels in China, this study collects and analyses the static data and emission parameters of ships both at home and abroad based on the data of automatic identification system. Based on the actual navigation Data of ships, the paper also analyses the emission characteristics under the condition of five vessels including port, mooring, low speed and cruise in port, and statistics the emissions according to different sea areas, and gives the ship atmosphere of the three emission control areas In China Pollutant emissions. The results show that the SO2, NOX and PM10 produced in the vicinity of China's coastal waters within a year are about 879,800 tons, 1,378,400 tons and 117,300 tons, respectively. Source of emission analysis shows that the host is the main source of emissions from the three main sources of emissions on the ship's main engine, auxiliary engines and boilers. Spatial analysis of ship-borne pollutants shows that 90% of ship emissions occur within 96 nautical miles of the coastline to the baseline of the territorial sea. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
