This paper reports a triaxial force plate (FP) array for measuring ground reaction force (GRF) distribution utilizing the sampling moiré (SM) method. The proposed FP system consists of a planar spring array, plates, checkerboard patterns, prisms, and a single camera. The planar spring array is easily fabricated in a single step with an FDM 3D printer. A 6 × 7 array of 25 mm square FP elements was constructed, demonstrating the capability for independent triaxial force measurements. The proposed FP system will allow multi-point simultaneous GRF measurement in animal locomotion. © 2025 IEEE.
