项目标书摘要:Thesuccessfullyvalidatedapproachesofthefirstfundingperiodforadeeperunderstandingofelectrontransferandspectroscopy(UV/vis/NIR,IR,EPR,Mössbauer,IMN)ofmixed-valencesystemsshallbeextendedandappliedtomorecomplexsystemsandquestions.Amongthemethodologicalextensions,improvedelectronic-structuremethods(gas-phasebenchmarks)andsolventmodels,inclusionofvibroniceffects,non-collinearcalculationsonspin-coupledsystems,extendedmethodsforthemanipulationofeffective-spinHamiltonians,improvedanalysesofEPRspectra,andMDsimulationswillbeimportant.Applicationswillbeextendedintheareasofmolecularelectronicsandmolecularmagnetism,bioinorganicchemistryandcatalysis.Conformationaleffectsonelectrontransferandspectroscopywillstillplayanimportantrole.
