1.Review of in-space assembly technologies
- 关键词:
- In-situ resource utilization; In-space assembly; Modular; On-orbitservicing; Space robots;FLEXIBLE SPACECRAFT; COLLISION-AVOIDANCE; SHAPE OPTIMIZATION; OBSTACLEAVOIDANCE; VIBRATION CONTROL; ROBOT; SATELLITE; TELEOPERATION; DESIGN;IDENTIFICATION
With the rapid development of space technology and the increasing demand for space missions, the traditional spacecraft manufacturing, deployment and launch methods have been unable to meet existing needs. In-space assembly (ISA) technologies can effectively adapt to the assembly of large space structures, improve spacecraft performance, and reduce operating costs. In this paper, the development and technologies for ISA are reviewed. ISA is classified from multiple angles, and the research status of ISA is shown clearly through the visual mapping knowledge domain. Then the development status of autonomous robot assembly in the United States, Europe, Japan, Canada and China is reviewed. Furthermore, the key technologies of ISA are analyzed from three aspects: assembly structure design, robot technologies and integrated management technologies. ISA technologies are still facing major challenges and need to be further explored to promote future development. Finally, future development trends and potential applications of ISA are given, which show that ISA will play a vital role in human space exploration in the future. Supernumerary robotic limbs (SRLs) are a new type of wearable human auxiliary equipment, which is currently a hot research topic in the world. SRLs have broad applications in many fields, and will provide a reference and technical support for the realization of human-robot collaboration and integration, while playing an important role in improving social security and public services. In this paper, representative SRLs are summarized from the aspects of related literature analysis, research status, ontology structure design, control and driving, sensing and perception, and application fields. This paper also analyzes and summarizes the current technical challenges faced by SRLs, and reviews development progress and key technologies, thus giving a prospect of future technical development trends.
...3.Review of snake robots in constrained environments
- 关键词:
- Snake robots; Joint structure; Control algorithms; Constrainedenvironment;OMNITREAD SERPENTINE ROBOT; LOCOMOTION CONTROL; GAIT DESIGN; CONCERTINALOCOMOTION; TRAJECTORY-TRACKING; CREEPING LOCOMOTION; MUSCULARMECHANISMS; LATERAL UNDULATION; NERODIA-FASCIATA; MOTION CONTROL
Snake robots have advantages of terrain adaptability over wheeled mobile robots and traditional articulated robot arms because of their limbless thin body structure and high flexibility. They have extensive applications in tasks such as rescue, disaster recovery, inspection and minimally invasive surgery. Current research on snake robots is mainly focused on snake-like locomotion and the embodiment of these motion gaits for different applications. Modular structure and real-time control algorithms are two key aspects for snake robots operating in constrained environments. This review will attempt to address both. First, a review on the snake motion and the body structure is provided, which outlines the biological foundation of all snake robots. This is followed by the mechanical structure of snake robots, especially the structure of elemental snake modules. Finally, control algorithms for variant terrain contours and obstacle avoidance are discussed. The review also outlines emerging application areas and potential future directions of snake robots. ...5.Survey on research and development of on-orbit active debris removal methods
- 关键词:
- space debris; active debris removal; on-orbit servicing; space robotics;capture method;ION-BEAM SHEPHERD; SPACE-DEBRIS; ATTITUDE-CONTROL; ELECTRODYNAMICTETHERS; ELECTRIC PROPULSION; CONTACT DYNAMICS; MISSION DESIGN; SLIDINGMODE; SOLAR SAIL; SYSTEM
Space debris is growing dramatically with the rapid pace of human exploration of space, which seriously threatens the safety of artificial spacecraft in orbit. Therefore, the active debris removal (ADR) is important. This review aims to review the ADR methods and to advance related research in the future. The current research and development status are clearly demonstrated by mapping knowledge domain and charts. In this paper, the latest research results are classified and summarized in detail from two aspects of space debris capture and removal. The scheme comparison and evaluation of all ADR methods are performed, and the applicable scopes of various methods are summarized. Each ADR method is scored using a cobweb evaluation model based on six indicators. Future development of ADR is discussed to promote further research interest.
