项目标书摘要:近年来能源危机以及环保问题日益严重且受到重视,提昇大众运输系统的使用率与载运量应是一个有效且可行的解决方案,藉以有效降低能源的消耗与减少环境污染。有别於目前国内运输业者大幅装配全球卫星定位系统(GPS)以随时掌握行驶中车辆位置及相关资讯之作法,本计划提出『智慧型公车运输之即时监控系统与协调机制』之整合应用,结合无线通讯、资讯、控制、导航与晶片设计等前瞻技术,应用无线射频辨识、无线感测网路、影像辨识、即时监控、估测理论与协调控制以及车载专用短距离通讯等相关技术,并透过车用环境无线存取技术、无线/有线通讯技术与网际网路,建构一套『智慧型公车运输即时监控系统』,以研发下一世代之智慧型大众运输系统。本计划将研发智慧型公车站牌与行车动态监控系统,有效收集乘客与行车即时的动态资讯,经由後端结合人像辨识、估测方法与协调控制机制所建构出的专家决策系统,实现大众运输车辆即时化与合理化的调度管理,以提昇客运业者之竞争力,有效降低营运成本。并可提供乘客人性化及可靠度的行车资讯与运输服务,以降低乘客的候车时间与提昇行车的舒适性,利用行车动态即时资讯系统,亦可即时掌握车辆行驶的状况,进而提昇大众运输之行车安全性、乘载率与准点性。本整合型计划将由五个子计划共同合作执行,子计划一为影像辨识技术应用於智慧型公车运输系统之设计与研发、规划与监控设计;子计划二为未知信号估测技术应用在动态候车人数估测之研究;子计划三为智慧型站牌与车载资通讯网路技术之研发;子计划四为智慧型系统平台之系统规划、网路资讯监测与协调控制研究及子计划五为智慧型互动式电子车票与智慧站牌/车载无线辨识系统之研发。我们预计以三年的时间完成规划之目标。第一年之研究重点将放在资料蒐集与分析、相关技术研究与验证、关键性技术研究与开发、系统细部规格制订、系统规格初步设计与建构。第二年之研究计划重点则在於系统模组原型(Prototype)之研发与功能测试、系统网路平台原型之研发与功能测试、系统平台原型之设计与静态功能整合测试。另外,第三年之研究工作重点将在於系统模组之功能改进与测试、系统网路平台之功能改进与整合测试、系统平台之功能改进与整合动态测试,并研拟与新竹科学园区巡回车系统结合在交通大学校园建构完成两套系统智慧型站牌通讯系统模组与智慧型车票之开发与整合测试,以验证所提『下世代智慧型公车运输系统』之功能与性能。

Application Abstract: In the recent years,due to the fast growth of electronic devices,the advanced technologies in the communication and computer engineering have been considered to be applied to the construction of intelligent transportation systems.Among those applications,the time-tracking and location-tracking of the public transportation have been developed by using GPS and GPRS.However,such a design can only roughly estimate the arrival time of the city bus systems.Instead of using GPS and GPRS,in this three-year research project,a novel design will be proposed to monitor and coordinate the scheduling and traffic flow of the vehicle for the public transportation systems.This will be achieved by the new design and development of the new RFID-tag type bus-ticket,the wireless communication between vehicle and bus-station or bus-stop,the interactive system built in the bus-stop for the communication between bus-stop and the passenger and/or the new type of the bus-ticket,the network which connects all the bus-stops and bus-stations for providing the information exchange among bus-stops and bus-stations,and the control center for providing the monitoring and scheduling of vehicles.The project is consisted of five sub-projects.Three of them are devoted to the development of such a platform,while two of five sub-projects,respectively,will be more focused on the detection of the possible passengers at each bus-stop through the image processing and the estimation schemes for the prediction of the amount of the passengers and the traffic flow of vehicles.In the first year,the five sub-projects will be cooperated to develop the system design specifications.It is followed in the second year of the project that all of the five sub-projects will be concentrated on the design and the functional testing of the prototypes of the designed modules,the preliminary design of the new RFID-tag type bus-ticket,the wireless communication between vehicle and bus-station or bus-stop,and the design of the testing platform.The third year of the integrated project will be focused on the final verification of the designed system with two sets of the designed intelligent bus-stop systems and the network platform which will be built on the main campus of the NCTU with possible help from the Hsinchu Science Park bus-system.
